| Local Outreach: David and Susan Robertson
SouthHills Church supports local outreach to the homeless through David and Susan's non-profit organization: Free People, Inc. Free People is a network of the Faith community that has served the homeless of Lane County since 1993 by meeting practical needs, showing compassion, and alleviating suffering. Beyond playing music and giving out free food, clothing and other necessities at events and a weekly Christian fellowship meetings, their hope is to free people from the cycle of despair. David and Susan help people by providing referrals to local services and networking with other agencies. Several times each year, SouthHills participates by sponsoring an outreach of goodwill to support their ongoing work in the area.
