SouthHills Kids
Children are incredible treasures. Our desire is to nurture and support the families of SouthHills by encouraging their kids and helping them discover more about God's great love and purpose for their lives.

Each Sunday, we provide a fun and safe environment where kids can build friendships and learn about God from a group of caring adults. Listed below are the age groups and descriptions of the small group time we provide on Sunday mornings.

Nursery: (2 years & under) Our nursery has loving volunteers, ready to get on the floor to play with your little ones and cater to their needs.

2/3-year-old class: It's fun to watch our babies grow into walking, talking little people. We play together, teach a Bible lesson, color, worship Jesus, read stories and--weather permitting--play on the outdoor play structures!

4/5-year-old class:
In this class, we start to see the kids embrace and understand Jesus in a whole new way! We play together, teach a Bible lesson, have crafts, worship Jesus and read stories together. Occasionally, our classroom puppet, Theo, makes a guest appearance! Weather permitting, we love taking the kids outside to swing and play on the play structures!

1st-3rd grades class:
We love the class discussions we get to have with these kids. We love listening to their hearts and ideas, as well as encouraging them as they grow and apply what they know about Jesus to real life situations. We play games together, teach a Bible lesson, have crafts and love the fun outside play structures!

4th-5th grades class:
We love supporting our 4th-5th graders as they mature and begin their journey toward middle school. We provide classroom discussions to help connect our Bible lessons with their everyday lives. Occasionally, we join the congregation for worship and communion. This class meets in the Gathering Room (located in the building closest to the playground and basketball courts).
