Children's Ministry

Our Children’s Ministry Goals:

1. To create a safe and loving environment where kids are encouraged to discover who God is and how much He loves us. On Sunday mornings kids will experience enthusiastic leaders, creative storytelling that focuses on biblical truths, purposeful activities that reinforce what is being taught, and lively worship all presented in a way that kids can understand!

2. To partner with families to bring church and home life together. We will do our best to provide resources that will enable parents to incorporate and expound upon Sunday teachings throughout the course of the week.

NURSERY – (Ages 0-2)
The nursery is a safe place where your little one will be well cared for. Our volunteers are ready to hold, read to, play with, and meet the overall needs of your baby.

FIRST LOOK – (Ages 2-5)
At this age, it is our goal that kids will understand three basics truths about God:

     1. God made me
     2. God loves me
     3. Jesus wants to be my friend forever

Each month we will introduce a new theme which includes a key question, bottom line, memory verse, and Bible story. Children learn through repetition, so we repeat the theme for a month--incorporating different activities each week.

252 BASICS – (Ages 6-8) Luke 2:52
As kids enter elementary school we want them to begin to understand what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus. To accomplish this, we emphasize three basic truths:

    1. I need to make the wise choice
    2. I can trust God no matter what
    3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated

In this group, a new virtue is introduced each month. Kids learn how to apply the virtue in their daily lives with help from Bible stories, activities and a small group atmosphere.
